Marjorie P. Hughes Marjorie P. Hughes, 85, of Chillicothe, died 11:35 pm, Sunday, July 6, 2008 in Westmoreland Place Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Friday, July 11, 2008 in the Original Glorious Church of God In Christ, with Bishop Melvin Maughmer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 pm Thursday in the Haller Funeral Home. She was born August 9, 1922 in Ross Co. to John W. and Mary E. Netter Payne. She married Ocie Hughes, who preceded her in death June 8, 1970. Survivors include her son, Bruce M. Payne, of Chillicothe; granddaughter, Belinda S. (Coey) Harewood, of Chillicothe; grandson, Michael E. (Lynn) Beatty, of Chillicothe; and great-grandchildren, Whitney and Desiree Harewood and Breanne and Camden Beatty. She was preceded in death by a brother Eather Netter. Mrs. Hughes was a member of the Original Glorious Church of God in Christ and a retired dietetics employee for the VA Medical Center.
