Marion A. Zingsheim, 93, of Chillicothe, passed away at 10:40pm Friday February 11, 2011, in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. She was born February 8, 1918, in Chicago, IL, to the late Charles and May Feller Seifert. On April 13, 1942, she married Herbert M. Zingsheim, her loving husband of 69 years, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Karen and Norm Raybould, Chillicothe; son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Arlene Zingsheim, of Chicago, IL; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Herb Zingsheim; sisters Dorothy Keller and Loraine Seifert; and a brother Raymond Seifert. Marion loved the library and reading. She also loved writing letters to family and friends, especially personalized Santa letters to her kids and later her grandchildren and their friends, composing up to 63 letters one year. She was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Her family is so thankful for all the loving care she received from everyone at Westmoreland and from Dr. Chris Skocik. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, March 12, at the Haller Funeral Home. Friends may call from 1-3pm Saturday prior to the service at Haller Funeral Home.
