Marion Morgan

July 20, 1929 — October 3, 2017

Marion Ralph Morgan, 88, of Chillicothe, died 3:10 pm, Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.   He was born July 20, 1929 in Chillicothe to the late Samuel and Mary Martin Morgan. On July 2, 1955 he married Marilyn J. Coder, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Chris, Michael and Jay (Debbie) Morgan, all of Chillicothe; and two grandchildren, Shannon Bess Morgan and Olivia Jaye Morgan. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Ben, Sam, Joe and Paul Morgan; and seven sisters, JoAnne McCann, Mary Bethel, Rowena Minney, Dehlia Tittler, Dottie Paul, Betty Bethel and Eleanor Gallaugher.   Marion was a US Army veteran and retired as an Instrument Shop Foreman from Chilpaco in 1991. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and spending time with his granddaughters.   Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Military graveside services will be announced at a later date and held in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call 11-1:00 Saturday at Haller's.
