Marilyn W. Howard, 79, of Chillicothe, died Monday evening, June 6, 2005, in the M.D. Anderson Hospital, Houston, TX, following an extended illness. She was born December 17, 1925, in Chillicothe to the late George G. II and Bertha A. Hawkins Wilson. On December 17, 1948, she married Dr. Alvin R. Howard, who preceded her in death on January 8, 1995. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law Michael W. (Donna) Howard, of Benbrook, TX; Jeffrey S. (Cynthia) Howard, of Sugar Land, TX; grandchildren Benjamin, Jonathan, Regan, and J. Stephen Howard; and a sister Barbara Ann Wilson, of Chillicothe. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, George G. Wilson II. Mrs. Howard was a Registered Nurse and worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital and the former Chillicothe Hospital. She attended St. Peter Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday, June 11, 2005, at Haller Funeral Home with Rev. James Black, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Bell Cemetery, Allensville, OH. Calling hours will not be observed.
