Maria C. Ramsey, 95, of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, November 3, 2023 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.
She was born May 28, 1928 in the Philippines, daughter of the late Victoriano and Gregoria (Yerro) Cagoyong.
Surviving are her children, Lolita Diokno, Ramon C. Millonte, Jr., Romeo C. Millonte, Leticia M. Sturges, Luz M. Hernandez, Lourdes M. Arboleda, and Lisa C. Millonte; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sister, extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ramon Millonte, Sr., and her second husband, Paul Ramsey.
Maria worked in housekeeping for many years before retiring. She loved to travel, especially to the Philippines to see her family. She also enjoyed going shopping, and going to parties or gatherings with her family.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services.
