Maria D Pryor

Maria D. Pryor, 74, of Chillicothe, passed away at 9:46am, October 7, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 7, 1952 in Durango, Mexico. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Pryor, of Chillicothe, along with her two children, Jose Buchanan, of Sedalia Missouri, and Tanya Buchanan of Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Ray (Aisha) Bowers and Courtney Bowers, both of Chillicothe; four great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Bowers, Thalia Bowers, Celene Bagley, and Draven Wachovec, all of Chillicothe; her sister, Elva Cornish, of El Paso, Texas; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Fisher. 

Maria graduated from Austin High School in El Paso, Texas, and retired from the United States Air Force following 20 years of service. She enjoyed playing Sudoku, animes, and especially loved spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Military honors will be held for Maria at a future date.
