Maria Llamas

Maria M. Llamas, 93, of Chillicothe, died at 6:50pm Monday, January 14, 2008, in Heartland of Chillicothe. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Thursday, January 17, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Maria was born July 21, 1914, in Ejuatla, Jalisco, Mexico. She was the widow of Jose Hernandez. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Rose (Donald) Haubeil, of Chillicothe; grandchildren Kelley Stanley and David Haubeil, both of Dayton; great-grandchildren Mason and Miranda Stanley; and a niece, whom she raised, Teresa Fernandez, San Diego, CA. She was predeceased by her husband and a brother. Maria was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic whose love for her family was only second for her love for the church.
