Margie Short

Margie B. (Martin) Short, 50, of Chillicothe, died at 10:15pm Saturday, September 22, 2012, in her home following an extended battle with cancer. She was born September 6, 1962, in Chillicothe to Gary E. and Mary R. (Adams) Martin. Surviving are her companion David Stewart, Chillicothe; her son Jonathan Short, of Laurelville; daughter Crystal Schmitt, Chillicothe; 6 grandchildren; her father and step-mother Gary E. (Kathy) Martin, Chillicothe; twin brother Michael (Kendra) Martin; Chillicothe; brother Timothy Martin, Jackson; sister Joetta (Jack) Barnett, Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Green; brothers Steve and Tony Martin; and a sister Mary Kay Smith. Margie was employed by First Group Realty. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home. At her request, there will be no funeral service.
