Margaret Hayburn

Margaret A. Hayburn, 77, of Chillicothe, died 1:25 am, Sunday, December 22, 2013, at Westmoreland Place Nursing Home, following an extended illness. She was born May 11, 1936 in Ross Co. to the late Walter J. and Vida M. Tucker Michaels. On October 10, 1953 she married Donald T. Hayburn, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Jeff (Cathy) Hayburn, Rebecca (Tom) Hewitt, Donald Hayburn II, all of Chillicothe, Theresa (Dan) DePugh, Anne (Donald) Hawk, and Nick (Angie) Hayburn, all of Frankfort; 34 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; a sister, Winifred (Brent) Helwig; and two brothers-in-law, Harry Matheny and Walter Jinks. She was preceded in death by seven sisters, Mary Phillips, Theresa Fout, Barbara Wisecup, Betty Bennett, Clara Matheny, Delores Jinks, and Ruth McCatherine; and a brother, Nicholas Michaels. Mrs. Hayburn was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She began The Rosary procession at St. Mary Church over 30 years ago, which is still held at St. Peter Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated 11:00 am Thursday at St. Peter Church, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Calling hours will not be observed.
