Margaret Fairrow

Margaret L "Mardy" Fairrow, 82, of Chillicothe, took her flight from earth to glory at Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. She was born May 29, 1930 to the late Charles and Dorothy Hitchens. On May 12, 1951, she married Robert L Fairrow, who preceded her in death January 1, 1992. Surviving are her 2 daughters Rosala Brown and Mara Fairrow, both of Chillicothe, son David Fairrow of Lancaster: sisters Frances Woodard, Patricia (Frank) Ragland, Judy Seward and Sonya (Nick) Powell; 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Robert Fairrow, Jr; brothers Charles, Robert and Carl Edward Hitchens. Margaret retired after working many years at the Chillicothe Country Club as a dining room supervisor; she was also a caregiver. Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church, 65 W 4th St. The funeral under the direction of Haller Funeral Home will be held at the Church where calling hours will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11:00-1:00 and the funeral will be at 1:00 with the eulogy by Elder Clifford R Brown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. A special thanks to the staff and friends at Westmoreland Place and In Care Hospice.
