Margaret Castle

Margaret "Peggy" Louise Castle, 69, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 12, 2018, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
She was born December 6, 1948, in Clearfield, PA, to the late John Thomas and Barbara Jane (Moore) Ruffner. On January 31, 1994, she married Ernest E. Castle who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Jeremiah (Kim) Radebaugh, Maggie Castle, and Shannon Castle; five grandchildren, Bryanna, Michael, Josiah, Jay, and Caden; two sisters, Barbara (John) Zaenglein, and Carrie (Ray) Wiser; two brothers, John Thomas (Sue) Ruffner, and Jerome (Grace) Ruffner; her father-in-law, Ike Castle; two sisters-in-law, Betty (Cecil) Tackett, and Sharon Ward; a brother-in-law, Andrew (Sabrina) Castle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Peggy was a mail carrier with the US Postal Service for many years before her retirement in 2011. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Methodist Church for more than 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling with her family, reading, sewing, quilting, and gardening. Her family and friends will remember her for her kind and loving spirit.
Friends may join the family for a visitation from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the Haller Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions can be made to a hospice group of the donor's choice.
