Margaret Ann Byrum, 97, of Chillicothe, passed away Saturday evening, July 22, 2023 at her home, following an extended illness.
She was born March 29, 1926 in Frankfort, Kentucky, daughter of the late William L. and Alma F. (Cerlante) Andrews. On July 6, 1944, she married her beloved husband, Eugene C. Byrum, who preceded her in death on December 13, 2013.
She is survived by their son, Robert W. (Cindy A. Bailey) Byrum, Sr.; a grandson, Robert W. Byrum, Jr.; as well as several additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, Ruth K. Broft; her great-niece, Amy Centes and her children; as well as numerous other extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Douglas E. Byrum, and a daughter, Patricia A. Byrum.
Margaret was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. In her free time, she enjoyed coloring and sewing.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may join the family for visitation from 11:00am until the time of the service.
