Marda Kengle

Marda A. Kengle, 80, died at her home at 7:35pm on November 6, 2017.   She was born December 9, 1936, in Chillicothe, to the late Walter C. and Florence R. (Betz) Trainer. On September 8, 1956, she married John J. "Jack" Kengle, who preceded her in death January 3, 1999.   Surviving are her 4 children: John J. Kengle II, of Pflugerville, TX, Michelle (Jeff) Lewis, of Chillicothe, Chris (Eufemia) Kengle, of Round Rock, TX, and Brian Kengle, of Austin, TX; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, including a special great-grandson Ryan Littler; a brother John (Janie) Trainer, of Chillicothe; a special friend Wanda Endlich; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers David and Tom Trainer; and a sister Linda Trainer.   Marda was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1955. She worked as a manager for Top Value and manager of the Kenworth Cafeteria. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Friday, November 10, at St. Peter Church, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. At her request, there will be no calling hours.   Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Church.
