Marcus Winfield

Marcus A. Winfield, 2 year old, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord in Heaven following a courageous battle with Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma. Marcus was born February 28, 2008, in Chillicothe, to Leroy "Kooly" and Amy L. (Weiderman) Winfield, who survive. Also surviving are his sisters: Jordan, Veronica and Kirsten Winfield, all of Chillicothe; maternal grandmother Barbara Colopy, Chillicothe; paternal grandparents Carl and Betty Winfield, Chillicothe; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and a very special friend, Caroline Johnson. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Richard Weiderman. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, August 2, 2010, at the Zion Baptist Church, with Rev. J Troy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5pm at Haller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Benefit of Marcus Winfield c/o Ross County Banking Center, 222 E. Main St., Chillicothe.
