Marcia O'Bryant

Marcia L. O'Bryant, 70, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. She was born April 4, 1939 in Columbus, OH the daughter of the late Daniel and Thelma Thomas. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Wayne T. O'Bryant; daughter, Vicki Dunsieth Long; son Ronald A (Patty) Dunsieth; stepsons, Wayne P. (Annette) O'Bryant, Richard (Michelle) O'Bryant, David (Beth) Mitchell; and stepdaughter, Kim O'Bryant. She was especially fond of her 13 grandchildren; Heath Dunsieth, Chad Long, Kyle Long, Mike O'Bryant, Nick O'Bryant, Lacie O'Bryant, Breann O'Bryant, Cora Nicole Kilcoyne, Sarah O'Bryant, James Dusty Buckner, Sam Mitchell, Tessa Barnes, Gretta Barnes, Anna (Colt) Rooker; and her 5 precious great-grandchildren. She was a 1956 graduate of North High School and a Licensed Cosmetologist for 35 years. She worked for 25 years as a beautician at several salons in Chillicothe before retiring so she could work with her husband in the family business, O'Bryant Enterprises, Inc. Marcia was deeply devoted to both caring and providing for her family. She was a kind and dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife. She also had a lover for horses and enjoyed riding. In honor of her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Donations may be made in her name/honor to the OSU School of Biomedical Sciences, Division of Anatomy, 279 Hamilton Hall, 1645 Neil Ave., Columbus, OH 43210-1239. The family will have a gathering of friends at the Scioto Township Hall, 164 E. Watt St., Chillicothe, on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 5-8 pm.
