Marcella Speakman

Marcella Speakman, 79, of Chillicothe, passed away at 1:15pm on Friday, December 23, 2016, at the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born in Chillicothe on February 17, 1937, to the late Raymond and Lillian (Bennett) Speakman. Surviving are her three sisters, Mona (Charles) Stevens, Jeanne (David) Stevens, and Wanda Tackett, all of Chillicothe; and a brother, Herschel (Carol) Speakman, of Chillicothe. Marcella was preceded in death by her siblings, Raymond "Jack" Speakman, Helen Hall, Harold Speakman, Norman Speakman, Marvin "Pete" Speakman, William "Johnnie" Speakman, and Leona Speakman.  Marcella worked for Frontier Community Services in their parks and recreation program. She loved watching her favorite television show Two and a Half Men, and also shopping. The family would like to give a special thanks to the entire staff at Frontier Community Services for all of the love and care they provided to Marcella during her time with them. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Haller Funeral Home from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Burial will directly follow in Concord Church Cemetery where a graveside service will take place.
