Marc S. Lamb passed unexpectedly Wednesday, November 24th, 2021. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, January 31, 1956, son of James and Betty Lamb (Sorenson). On September 14th, 1991 he married Penny Lamb (Alexander) who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Michaela (Austen) Medek of Canal Winchester; Emily (Tony) Rossi of Milwaukee Wisconsin, Erin Lamb of Chillicothe, Elle Lamb of Columbus, and one son, Nathaniel Lamb of Columbus, along with three grandchildren, Amelia, Marshall and Harlee Medek. Also surviving are sisters Karen (William) Gall and Christine Clapham of Mt. Vernon, and a brother, Doug Lamb, of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother T.R. Lamb and sister Susan Lamb.
Marc graduated from Northland High School in 1974 and was employed by Liebert Corporation from 1978-1990. For the past 31 years he resided in Chillicothe where he specialized in video and photography production beginning with Custom Video and in 2008 developed a national web based real estate video production company. Marc was avid football fan and a dedicated Ohio State Buckeye. As a former amateur DJ, his lifelong passion was music, owning an extensive music and record collection. Marc was well read and enjoyed discussing the topics of history, religion and politics.
The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 pm Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church. Those that wish to stay for his Memorial Service at 6:00 pm are more than welcome. Private graveside services will be held in Grandview Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ross Co.
