Madge Williamson

Our beloved Mother, Madge Ann (Slater) Williamson, passed from this life and entered her eternal home on Saturday, August 5, 2023.

She was born in Borderland, near Chattaroy, WV, on August 8, 1931, to her parents, Dewey Slater and Hattie (Jones) Slater.

She is survived by her four children, Leona (Walter) Smith, Stan (Linda) Williamson, Tom (Connie) Williamson, and Dorena Kunze and companion, Steve Starr.  Also surviving are six grandchildren, Gracie Cochenour, Katie Williamson, Anna (Jeremy) Elliott, Alan (Laura) Williamson, Patty (Aaron) Schopp, and Eric Williamson. Other survivors include her eleven great grandchildren, Ezra, Justice, Miles, Olivia, Acacia, Jakub, Nehemiah, Lamija, Zion, Imana, Harun.  Her sister Sophia (Slater) Small also survives along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Marvin (Helen) Slater, William (Audra) Slater, sister Jean (Irvin) Maynard, and brother-in-law Fred Small.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Haller Funeral Home, 1661 Western Avenue, Chillicothe, Ohio with her son Tom Williamson officiating.  The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at 11:00 a.m. The burial service will follow at Grandview Cemetery, Chillicothe.   Her online guestbook and video tribute are available at www.HallerFuneralHome.com To send a flower arrangement or to plant trees in memory of Madge A.
