Madeleine Fletcher

Madeleine A. Fletcher Madeleine A. Fletcher, 93, of Chillicothe, died 3:15 pm Sunday, January 29, 2006, in her granddaughter's home, following a brief illness. She was born August 21, 1912 in Nelsonville, OH to John and Velma Eyler Dougherty. On October 6, 1942 she married Burnell Fletcher, who died November 8, 2005. Survivors include two sons, Mike (Diana) and Pat Fletcher, both of Chillicothe; three granddaughters, Cindy (Richard) Boreland, of Chillicothe, Elizabeth (Chris) Guibord, of Cincinnati, OH, and Colleen Fletcher, of Boston, MA; two step-grandsons, Brent Barrows, of Chillicothe and Heath Barrows, of Florida; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Helena Mae (Howard) Baugh and Geraldine Vogel; a brother, James (Diane) Dougherty; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Katie Rourke. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 11 siblings and an infant daughter, Nora Kay. Mrs. Fletcher was a clerk with the US Shoe Corp. Credit Union. Mass of Christian Burial will be celbrated 10:30 am Friday in St. Peter Church, Rev. James Black, Celebrant. Calling hours will not be observed.
