Mabel Hoffman

Mabel V. Hoffman, 78, of Chillicothe, died 11:45 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Adena Regional Medical Center.   She was born April 4, 1938 in Ross Co. to the late Herbert C. and Katherine J. Butterbaugh Price. On May 13, 1959 she married Robert B. Hoffman Sr., who died July 30, 1998. Survivors include her daughter, with whom she lived, Donna Hoffman; three sons, Robert B. (Julie) Jr., Mark, and Jeffery L. (Kelly) Hoffman, all of Chillicothe; six grandchildren, Jeffery (Bobbi Jo), Nicole, Hannah, Tyler, Haley, and Austin; two great-grandchildren, Makenzie and Laila; a sister, Violet (Stan) Fisher; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Geraldine Coey, Rosie Skaggs, and Ellen Woods; and brothers, Gorden, Albert, William, and Chancey Herbert Price.   Mrs. Hoffman retired from General Electric in 1980. She attended several local churches, until she was no longer physically able. The family would like to thank Ross Co. Home Health and the staff in the Adena ER for all of their care and special efforts.   Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Pastor Ron Cottrill officiating.
