Lynette Hess

Lynette Renee Hess, 50, of South Salem, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 24, 2018, as the result of injuries sustained in an accident. She was born July 29, 1967, in Oberlin, Ohio, to James Allen Louisa and the late Joan Carole (Dague) Louisa. On June 6, 2015 she married Ray Lee Hess who survives. Also surviving is their daughter, Rae-Anna Hess, of South Salem; three step-children, Jessee Leach, Jamie Hess, and Troy Hess, all of Chillicothe; two sisters, Laurie Louisa, of Sullivan, Ohio, and Lois (Keith) Cunningham, of Grove City; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lynette was a member of The Church in Chillicothe. In her free time she loved to go fishing and making crafts with Rae-Anna. She also loved spending time with her family, her church family, reading her daily devotions, and fulfilling her gift as an encourager of God's people. A funeral service will be held at The Church in Chillicothe at 11:00am on Friday, June 29, 2018 with Preacher Daniel DeGarmo officiating. Burial will follow in Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may join family for a visitation on Thursday from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the church. Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to The Church in Chillicothe, 2004 Western Avenue, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
