Lynda Grimes

Lynda Sue Grimes, 67, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly January 24, 2019, at her residence.   She was born March 3, 1951 in Chillicothe to the late Garrett M. Ford and Lucinda Higginbotham Ford Current. Survivors include two children, James (Colleen) Taylor, Red Oak, TX and Michelle (Milton) Copley, Chillicothe; five grandchildren, Cameron, Brandy, Jonathon, Wyatt and Monty; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Denise Bowman, Hilliard and Susan (Mark) Hopkins, Chillicothe; two brothers, Garrett (Joanne) Ford and Carl (Peggy) Ford, both of Chillicothe; her step-father, Theodore Current, who raised her; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces; and a special friend, Rob Thomas. She was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Ford, a brother, Teddy Current, and a brother-in-law, Roderick Bowman.   Lynda was an LPN and employed by Heartland of Chillicothe. She loved listening music, especially listening to songs by the Eagles.   The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity in her honor.
