Lucinda Jane Blevins, 59, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born October 13, 1956, in Ross County, to Herman Richard and Mabel Mae (Perkins) Nichols. On August 5, 1979, she married her beloved husband, Randy Blevins, and they spent 38 wonderful years together. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jason (Tonya) Blevins; two daughters, Rhanda Blevins, and Kass (Billy) Alexander; eight granddaughters, Anessa (Ryan Fisher) Crotty, who was the light of her life, Cassandra Blevins, Ashlie Bethel, Davin and Myah Bullock, Arabella Violette, and Addison and Emily Alexander; four great-grandchildren, Swayzi Fisher, Draken Kellar, Zayden "Zay" Alexander, and Liliana Leeson; her father, Herman (Kay) Nichols; and four brothers, Steve (Kathy) Nichols, Stan (Vicki) Nichols, Bruce Nichols, and Dick (Linda) Nichols. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Mae (Perkins) Moran, and her granddaughter, Sara Jane Leeson. Despite her rough life, Cindy loved and cherished the simple things. Her family meant the world to her, and spending time with them is what made her happiest. She was the most loving person and would never turn a person or animal away. She loved her husband dearly, along with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Cindy was a strong woman, and the rock of the family that held everyone together. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. "Rest in peace Lucinda Jane Blevins, we all love you more." In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public services.
