Louis Roberts

Louis E. Roberts, of South Bloomingville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, September 05, 2016. Born February 6, 1942, he was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Spangler Roberts, of Dayton, and a brother, Roger "Pete" Roberts, of Middletown. Louis leaves behind his wife Sandra, of Vinton Co.; 2 daughters, Kimberley A. (David) Waldridge, Salvisa, KY and Christina L. Cairell, Frankfort, KY; 2 grandchildren, Odell Scott "Brat" Hager, and Cassia James Cairell, both of Frankfort, KY; and a great-granddaughter, Melody Storm Hager. Louis retired from Dupont. He was a longtime and standing member of the Eagles Aerie 600, the Loyal Order of Moose, Chillicothe, and AMVETS Post 4. He was a Chillicothe and Ohio Bass Master. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, collecting eagles and spending time with his family. He will truly be missed by his dog, best friend, and loyal companion Cierra. An Eagles Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, followed by funeral services, Bill Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery, South Bloomingville. Friends may call 11-1:00 pm Wednesday at Haller's.
