Loueda Straziuso-Gearing, 80, of Londonderry, passed from this life unexpectedly on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born May 20, 1940, in Load, Kentucky, daughter of the late Herman and Anna Sylvia Holbert.
Surviving are her siblings, Juanita Forrest, Darlene Thacker, and Rick (Melanie) Holbert; her children, Steve (Karen) Bolte, Debra (Steve) Huffman, and Donna (Tom) Young; grandchildren, Amanda (Bobby) Goldsmith, Valerie (Steve) Steenburgh, Mike (Erika McCullough) Bolte, Jillian (Matt) Cummins, and Katlyn Young; as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
Loueda married Donald Bolte in 1955 who preceded her in death. She later married Rocco Straziuso in 1988, who also predeceased her. In 2008, she found the love of her life, Lloyd Gearing, who survives along with his loving family.
Loueda was a Childcare provider for many children over the course of 50 plus years. She was an avid card player, line dancer, and attended Zumba classes for multiple years.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Saint Margaret Cemetery, 510 Worthington Ave., Chillicothe, with Rev. Jim Taylor of the Pleasant Valley Trinity Church officiating. Guests in attendance are requested to wear facial coverings and to maintain social distancing.
