Lou Ellen (Doles) Pauley, 73, of Chillicothe, passed away Wednesday morning at 11:08am, December 18, 2019 at her home, following an extended illness.
She was born June 28, 1946, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Herschel and Susie Faye Doles. On May 28, 1966, she married Michael Pauley, and together they shared over 53 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four children, Linda Pauley, of Chillicothe, Lisa (Brian) Nicholetto, of Des Moines, Iowa, Kim (Roger) Ward, of Chillicothe, and Michael (Kristina) Pauley, of Laurelville; eight grandchildren, Noah Iseton, Justin Pauley, Jessie Iseton, Derek Iseton, Sasha Ward, Clarissa Culwell, Nichole Nicholetto, and Raven Ward; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Linda) Doles; a sister, Janet Gibson; her special friend, Shirley Huff; and her dog companion, Daisy Mae.
Lou Ellen was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1965. She went on to work at several Walmart stores in the area, helping to open the new locations including Circleville, and Chillicothe before her retirement in 2007. She was a former member of the Concord Church in Chillicothe before her illness prevented her from attending. In her free time, she loved going shopping and attending concerts.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Huntington Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Heartland Hospice Group.
