Any bird thought of has its name written with a picture and the tune of its melody.   It is an "Atlas collection" that engulfs its reader into its fantasies and subjects them to the real world of driving across state lines and embracing the beauty the natural world holds around us all.    It is a "book of science" detailing the beauty of a garden and the gentle hands that sowed the seeds and pulled its weeds. The creation of life and the tenderness of the one who cares for it extends beyond the fence of the garden and into the hands of those who were held by hers.    It is a "home magazine" with pictures of the quilts made of the many shirts, socks, and garments left behind, sewn together with the strings of love and contagious smiles. Each patch is its own piece but part of the quilt as a whole, sharing its textures and colors with its neighboring piece.    It is a "cook book" instructing the stirring of beans in a pot, and laughing on the back porch shucking corn. It holds the thousands of meals served at a loud table full of smiles, tears, and togetherness.   It is a "medical book" with the instructions on how to cure any symptom and the diagnosis of the things we think have no answers only to discover it was just gas.   It is a "photo album" showcasing the stitches that hold together over six thousand memory bears and thousands of dog bone neck pillows, each stitch illuminated by the love in which it was crafted, donating a loving hug to the countless people overcoming grief and the hold of hospice and hardships.    It is a "scrapbook" with delicately placed photos of the many creatures under the care of gentle hands. From its hummingbirds to numerous dogs, to anyone who sat around the dining room table, the contents of this scrapbook thrive because of generosity.    It is the "instruction manual" of a hundred card games, pages of Yahtzee, and completed puzzles. Each step highlights the importance of its rules and the joy of not only winning but celebrating the victory of others with a hot cup of tea and warm toast.    The book of Lorita Gozy has no cover, and no book description on its back cover. It is a silent speaker in which its contents do all the talking. Each page is a new beginning and a new lesson to learn. No chapter is more important than the one before it, and the words on each page dance with the love of many generations.    The last page is not one to make you cry,  but to do what the whole book has been telling you since page one;    The happiest people are not the ones who have the best of everything, but those who make the best of everything. So, Live Simply, Love Generously, Speak Kindly, and Care Deeply.
