Loretta Mcneal

Loretta J. McNeal, 74, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord Tuesday August 28, 2007, at home in the presence of her family following a brief battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday August 31, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Wible officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7pm at Haller Funeral Home. Loretta was born December 23, 1932, in Ross Co. to the late Lamar Harper and Fern (Oney) Fairchild. On June 27, 1959, she married Joe R. McNeal, who survives. Also surviving are her sons Scott (Cindy) McNeal; Mark McNeal, all of Chillicothe; daughter and son-in-law Sharon (Bob) Belliveau, Miamisburg, OH; grandchildren: Sarah, Joe (Amity), Jennifer, Kelli, and Jessica; step-grandchildren Bradley (Cheryl), and Sean; 2 great-grandchildren; her step-mother Julia Harper, Chillicothe; nieces Angela, Lisa, and Lana; brothers and sisters-in-law David (Janet) Fairchild, Richmond, IN; and Rick (Lisa) Harper, Chillicothe; sisters-in-law Mickey Fairchild, Frankfort; and Mary Willis, Chillicothe. She was predeceased by her step-father Emery Fairchild; and a brother Larry Tom Fairchild. Loretta was an operator with the Chillicothe Telephone Co. and worked in the cafeteria in the Chillicothe Public School System. She was a graduate of Southeastern High School, Class of 1951.
