Lora Lechner

Lora Bobette "Bobbie" Lechner, 71, of Chillicothe, passed away July 19, 2016, at Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born August 19, 1944, to the late Robert H. and Doris E. (Weinrich) Lechner. Surviving is a brother, Paul B. (Barbara) Border, of AL; her nieces, Jane Border Gossett, Mary Grady, and Amy Atkins; her nephews, Paul Border, Jr., Daniel M. Border, and David Border; special cousins, Judy Witt, Phyllis Weingard, and Carl Ann Rhoades; as well as several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a very special friend, Mary Elliott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Border, and three special aunts, Thelma Ward, Ruth Lovensheimer, and Patricia Eliott. Bobbie was a licensed insurance agent for most of her life and worked with several agencies in Chillicothe. She was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. She was a devoted animal lover, and the loves of her life besides her family was her four canine "babies", Pekie, Muffin, Nickie, and Brandy. They brought her so much joy and happiness throughout her life. At Bobbie's request, there will be no public calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 1:00pm in Londonderry Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ross County Humane Society.
