Loma Ashworth

Louise Ashworth Louise Ashworth, 90, of Chillicothe, passed from this life September 15, 2005 and entered into heaven to be with her loved ones. She was born June 19, 1915 in Lyndon, OH to Marion and Rosetta Wilson Denner. On January 3, 1933 she married Gilbert B. Ashworth, who preceded her in death in September 1972. She is survived by daughters, Helen Watkins and Mary Matters, both of Chillicothe, Kathy (James) Cartee, of Londonderry; sons, Delbert (Phyllis) Ashworth, of Chillicothe, Francis E. Ashworth, of Colorado, Larry (Brenda) Ashworth, Circleville, Joe (Christy) Ashworth, Keith D. Ashworth, Gary (Brenda) Ashworth and Jeffrey (Diana) Ashworth, all of Chillicothe; 34 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; a special grandson, who lived with her for twenty years, Michael Golob; a special son-in-law, James (Doretta) Dennis; a brother Roy (Beth) Denner, Salt Lake City, Utah; a sister-in-law, Ruth Denner, of Dayton; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Julia Dennis; sons, Ivan Ray and Donald Lee Ashworth; sisters Nora and Audrey Denner; and a brother, Eugene Denner. Mom, we love you and will miss you so much. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. James Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 pm Monday at Haller's, and one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adena Health Foundation, Hospice Program, 272 Hospital Road, Chillicothe.
