Lois Yakubisin

Lois M. Yakubisin, 84, of Chillicothe, OH, formerly of Greensburg, PA and Mesa, AZ, passed away March 8, 2013, at Heartland of Chillicothe. She was born March 27, 1928, in Westmoreland County, PA, to the late Russell and Louella (Clayton) Serman. On August 7, 1948, she married Michael Yakubisin, who preceded her in death in September of 2009. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mark and Bonnie Yakubisin, of Barnesville, OH; daughter and son-in-law Michele and John Karelis, Chillicothe, OH; a grandson Ricky Yakubisin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her father Russell Serman; her mother Louella Pierce; a brother Kenneth Serman; and a sister Betty Felix. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Saturday, April 6, 2013, at St. Bruno's Catholic Church, South Greensburg, PA, with Fr. Martin Bartel, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. Local services were held under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 205 North St., Lucasville, OH 45648.
