Lois J Horsley

Lois J. Horsley, 73, of Chillicothe, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 31, 2026, at the Ohio State University Medical Center, following an extended illness.

She was born February 28, 1953, to the late Stanley “Buck” and Marian (Creek) Irwin. On June 8, 1973, she married her beloved husband, Michael R. Horsley, who survives.

Also surviving are her children, Bobbie Rericha, Michelle (Billy) Johnson, Melissa Horsley, and Michael (Kallie) Horsley; grandchildren, Emily Raines, Molly Raines, Brittney (Ely) Nieves, River Johnson, Jesse (Ckloey) Saxour, Michael Horsley, Nash Horsley, and Rhilyn Bobb; great-grandchildren, Lilly (Alex) Vest, Addie Ayers, Tegan Spaeth, Rowan Spaeth, Artie Nieves, and 1 great-granddaughter on the way; her sister, Janet (Tim) Goldie; special friends, Bill (Becky) Black, and Charles (Pat) Mattox; as well as numerous other extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Sharon (Terry) Garrison, Randy Irwin, Butch (Melody) Irwin, and Peggy (Kenny) Danes.

Lois was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many people. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She also loved taking date night trips to the casino with her dear husband Michael. She will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services.
