Lois Criner

Lois I. (Riehle) Criner, 83, of Chillicothe, died Sunday October 14, 2007, in Logan Elm Health Care, Circleville. She was born May 26, 1924, in Ross Co., OH to the late John F. and Dorothy Kellough Riehle. Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law Willard (Alice) Clemmons, New Holland, OH; John F. Clemmons, Rotunda West, FL; grandchildren: Keith Clemmons, Dean Clemmons, Kimberly Clemmons, Cody Clemmons, and Shelly Clemmons; great-grandchildren: Ciera Clemmons, Jeremy Cochenour, and Brittany Richardson; 9 great-great-grandchildren; brothers Jim Riehle, Ranger TX; Lloyd Riehle, Chillicothe; and Mike Riehle, Westerville, OH; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins including two special cousins Lucille Hilsheimer and Joan Myers. She was predeceased by her former husband William Charles Clemmons; husband Charles P. Criner; a son Billy Michael Clemmons; a great-great-grandson Noah Kade Richardson; a sister Evelyn (Riehle) Canini; and brothers Larry, Jack, and Patrick Riehle. Mrs. Criner was a waitress at several restaurants over the course of her life. At her request, she has bequeathed her body to the Ohio State University Division of Anatomy. No formal services will be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
