Lloyd Reed

Lloyd E. Reed, 87, of Chillicothe, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.  He was born in Chillicothe on September 16, 1937, to John E. and Constance (McCormick) Reed.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patty (McKenna) Reed; his children, Bret Reed, Terri McCleskey (Larry Bramlett), and Tricia (Richard) Harp; grandchildren, Kaitlynn (Logan) McClain, Hunter (Katherine) McCleskey, Madison Reed (Dylan Chapman), Walker McCleskey (Shelby Long), and McKenna Reed (Brandon Tilley); great-grandchildren, Sawyer McClain, Brooks Tilley, and Scottie McClain; siblings, Robert (Anni) Reed, Connie England-Garrison, and Charlotte (Bob) Parker.  He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Bertha Watson, and brother-in-law, Glenn Watson.

Lloyd served in the National Guard, was an avid golfer, enjoyed the outdoors, and hunting and fishing.  He was a member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 189, Hilltop Sportsman Club and St. Mary Catholic Church.

A  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday August 23, at 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 61 S Paint Street, Chillicothe followed by burial at St. Margaret Cemetery.  Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 am at the church.
