Livia Marie Sheppard

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Livia Marie Sheppard, a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend to many. Livia passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the young age of 24. She was born on June 12, 2001, in Chillicothe, Ohio, and resided in Washington Court House, Ohio.

Livia attended Adena High School, where she graduated with the class of 2019. Known for her vibrant spirit and giving nature, Livia was cherished by all who met her, as she always welcomed everyone with an accepting heart and a kind word. She was a valuable part of the team at McKesson Distribution where she was a Senior Facilities Representative.

A former softball player for Adena High School, Livia enjoyed the camaraderie of the sport and the friendships it brought into her life. She had a talent for working with her hands, whether it was creating something meaningful or fixing what was broken. Among her favorite pastimes was hunting with her father, a tradition passed down through their shared bond.

Livia is survived by her loving parents, Adam and Leanna Sheppard; her brothers, Jordan Sheppard and Ethan Sheppard and his wife, Jasmine; her cherished niece and nephew, Willow and Braxton; and her dear grandmother, Margaret Spellman. She will be missed by her aunts and uncles, Richard Spellman, Marla Spellman, Tammy Pittenger, Eric Sheppard, and Lisa Sheppard, who will all hold her memory close to their hearts.

Livia was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carolyn Sheppard; and her grandfathers, Richard Spellman and Donald Sheppard, whom she joins in eternal peace.

Livia's warm spirit touched the lives of many, and her kindness and generosity will not be forgotten. Her presence in our lives was a gift, and the memories we have of her will continue to inspire and comfort us in the days to come.

A Celebration of Livia's life will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Ryan Bevan officiating followed by burial at Hallsville Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
