Linda Ware

Linda Mae Ware, 72, of Bainbridge, OH, died October 10, 2022, at her residence.   She was born May 17, 1950, in Willmar, MN, to the late Gustave W. and Dorothy (Timmons) Klingbeil.  On July 8, 1976, she married Joseph D. Ware, who preceded her in death March 26, 2018.   Surviving are their children: Katara (Matt) Zachmann, Leslie (Justin) Pitts, Joseph D. (Kristin) Ware II; grandchildren: Kaden (Sajith), Isaac, Eian, Roman, Cassaundra, Jasmine, Ariel, Yazmine, Elijah, Owen, Lauren and Chase; and her brother Gustave "Butch" (Joyce) Klingbeil.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by an infant brother.   Linda spent her early years on the family farm in Lowry, MN. Linda was part of Jefferson Senior High School's Class of 1968, Alexandria, MN. She graduated from The Swedish School of Nursing in Hennepin County, MN following in her aunt's footsteps to become a nurse. She earned her Bachelors in Nursing from Ohio University and her Masters in Nursing from The Ohio State University. She worked as a Registered Nurse for the Chillicothe VAMC and was honored to serve veterans for 34 years before retiring.    Linda loved to share her favorite books, write poetry, travel, tend to her houseplants, and loved her family which included her dogs. She and Joe enjoyed spending summers at their cabin on Tulaby Lake listening to loons and watching the ever-changing lake while catching up with family and friends on its porch.   A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Rich Cottrill officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11am until 1pm Thursday at the funeral home.
