Linda Smith

Linda Susan Smith, 63, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, December 11, 2016 at her home. She was born March 26, 1953, in Ft. Dixon, New Jersey to Morris James and Linda Lou (Potter) Hartley. On June 10, 1995, she married Randy Smith. In addition to her father and husband, Susan is survived by her siblings, Nancy Lin Keppler, of Galena, James Alan (Starr) Hartley, of Chillicothe, M. Jack (Beverly) Hartley, of Wilmington, DE, and Kerry Lou (Thomas) Congrove, of Commercial Point; her nieces and nephews, Dustin Kyle (Tia) Manring, Kristen Elizabeth Keppler, James Matthew Keppler, Jack Andrew (Nora) Hartley, Thomas James (Michelle) Congrove, Mitchell Andrew Congrove, and Ryan (Nellie) Gill; her sister-in-law, Jody (Phil) Gill-Rocha, of Chillicothe; special friends, Dar Brown, Roxanne Duncan, Becky Johnson, and Judy Leach; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Susan worked as a nurse for many years before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, and was an avid Xbox gamer. She also loved her three cats, Peaches, LE, and Chipper. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Haller Funeral Home and Crematory. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, December 15, and also from 11:00am until the time of the service on Friday.
