Linda Smith

Linda E. Smith, 67, of Clarksburg, formerly of Chillicothe, died 8:10 am, Friday, February 24, 2017, at Heartland of Chillicothe, following an extended illness.   She was born June 25, 1949 in Chillicothe to the late Thomas A. and Betty L. Leach Taylor. Survivors include two children, Paula (Timothy) Borland, of Chillicothe and Valinda Hanson-Baker, of Frankfort; nine grandchildren, Thomas (Katrina) Borland, Danielle Owen, Kayla (Anthony) Meadows, Summer Hanson, Luke Hanson, Jordan (Megan), Tiffany and Ciera Smith, and a special granddaughter, with whom she lived, Brittany Hanson; 10 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Dave (Janice) Taylor, Columbus and John Taylor, London, OH. She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Joe Taylor and Dale Eugene Smith; four sisters, Carol Sue, Betty Lou, Marsha and Mary Ann; three brothers, Tom, Roger and Donnie Taylor; and a brother whom she preceded in death by only five hours, Bill Taylor.   Linda was an active member of the American Legion Auxillary, and until her illness prohibibited her she enjoyed spending time at the Elks, playing cards, playing bingo and spending time with friends. She was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and NASCAR fan.   Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Luke Hanson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 pm Tuesday at Haller's.
