Linda Pinnix

Linda L. Pinnix Linda L. Karshner Pinnix, 64, of Chillicothe, died 6:06 pm, October 10, 2007, in her home, following a courageous two year battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held 4:00 pm Saturday in the Haller Funeral Home. Friends may call from 3:00 pm until the hour of the service Saturday. Private graveside services will be held in Grandview Cemetery at a later date. She was born April 25, 1943 in Ross Co. to Merle and Edith Helen Seymour Karshner. Survivors include her three children, Becky (Mitch) Salyers, of Chillicothe, Debbie (Lee) Graves, of Ashville, OH, and John (Heather) Pinnix, of Kettering, OH; eight grandchildren, who were the love of her life, Courtney, Megan, and Cody Salyers, Alex, Colin, and Logan Graves; and Jack and Aidan Pinnix; 6 brothers and sisters, David, Jerry and Roger Karshner, Dorothy Imler, Judy Cartee, and Joyce Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Nelson Karshner. Linda was an employee of the Kenworth Truck Co. She was an avid gardener and painter. However, she felt the most precious times were those spent with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Eagles Aerie 600 and the American Legion Auxillary. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Church, 126 Church St., Chillicothe; First Freewill Baptist Church, PO Box 2074, Chillicothe; or the American Cancer Society.
