Lexie Mae Proctor, 80, of Chillicothe, passed away at 2:10am Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born November 24, 1943, in Glenhayes, WV, to the late James and Mae (Salmons) Bartram. On July 20, 1970, she married Donald K. Proctor, who survives.
Also surviving are her sons: Donald K. "Deke" Proctor II and his significant other Charlee Heavrin; and Jason Proctor, all of Chillicothe; grandson Jacob Proctor, of Grand Ledge, MI; her brothers James (Judy) Bartram, of Ft. Gay WV, Ira David (Jane) Bartram, of Huntington, WV; sisters Sally Wilson, of Louisa, KY, and Ella Bert (Rolla) Wagner, of Huntington, WV; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Dan, William and Glen Bartram; and an infant sister Alice Gay Bartram.
Lexie enjoyed working as a hostess at Western Ave. McDonald's restaurant. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Lexie was a frequent blood donor with the American Red Cross, enjoyed quilting and was an avid cat lover.
Her funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday, January 25, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory with Dr. Jason Link officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10am until 11am Thursday at the funeral home.
