Lewis Throckmorton

Lewis D. Throckmorton, 82, of Chillicothe, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 6, 2022 at the Adena Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 11, 1940, in Chillicothe, son of the late Arnold and Nellie (Penwell) Throckmorton. On October 31, 1986, he married his beloved wife, Pamela K. (Cydrus) Throckmorton, sharing over 36 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by their children, Jeffery D. (Gina) Throckmorton, Chris A. (Toni) Throckmorton, Todd L. Throckmorton, Michelle L. (Amy) Throckmorton, and Bryan Park; a brother, Larry Throckmorton; a sister, Vickie Spriggs; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; as well as his special companion Lucky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Arnold, and Roger Throckmorton; his sisters, Martha, Nellie, and Evie; and two canine companions, Midget and Sadie.
Lou worked for the Mead Corporation in Chillicothe and retired in 1998 after 47 years of employment. In his free time, he was an avid golfer and a Cleveland Browns fan (Go Browns!). He will be missed by many, many friends at the Zane Tavern.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
