Lewis Garrison

Lewis A. Garrison, 88, of Chillicothe, died at 10:35pm September 7, 2006, in Valley View Care Center, Frankfort. He was born June 19, 1918, in Clarksburg, OH, to the late Edward and Leah Crabb Garrison. On June 19, 1950, he married the former Ruth W. Thompson, who survives. Also surviving are his son, Dr. Rick Garrison; daughter and son-in-law Kris (Tony) Sosa; daughter Maria Garrison; grandchildren: Trenton and Chandler Garrison and Stephanie Sosa, all of California; brothers Ward Garrison of Washington C.H.; and Richard Garrison, Clarksburg; and a sister Eloise Riccobono, Clarksburg. He was predeceased by a brother Harold Garrison and a sister Dorothy Salt. Mr. Garrison retired from Chillicothe Correctional Institute in 1985 where he worked as the Business Administrator. He was a WWII Veteran, having served his country in the Army Air Corp as a First Lieutenant. Funeral services will be held 7:00pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor B. Jay Dailey officiating. Military graveside service conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will be held at 11:00am Wednesday in Browns Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7pm Tuesday at Haller Funeral Home.
