Lewis L. Felts Lewis L. Felts, 72, of Chillicothe, died 11:15 am, Thursday, May 15, 2008, in his home, following an extended illness. Following cremation, graveside services will be announced at a later date in Twin Township Cemetery. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. He was born September 7, 1935 in Johnson City, TN to Jessie and Almeta Vaughn Felts. On September 7, 1993, he married Edna Hatfield, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Barbara (Randy) Swann, of IL, Cathy (Jeff) Brenton, of AZ, Karen (Tom) Rowland, of Waverly, Pete (Collen) Felts, of Chillicothe, Don (Crystal) Felts, Gallipolis, Jeff Felts, of Bainbridge, and Calvin Felts, of Chillicothe; his step-children, Randall (Reanell) Bellaw and Josh Weaver, of Chillicothe; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda (Tom) Sullivan, of Waverly; sisters-in-law, Cathy Felts and Marie (Tim) Grube, of Chillicothe; a brother-in-law, Fred Hatfield, of Chillicothe; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Hatfield, of Chillicothe; numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece and nephew, Jason and Tammy Sullivan; several friends, including special friends, Russ Walkup and Mrs. Daily. He was preceded in death by two sons, James and Ted Felts; his parents; brothers Junior, Bill, Harlen, and Bob; sisters, Brenda Hamlin, Evelyn Keller, Mildred and Helen Felts. Lewis retired from Scioto Township as a Cemetery Sexton in 2003. Memorial contributions may be made to Adena Health Foundation, Friends of Hospice, 272 Hospital Rd., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
