Lewis Bray

Lewis C. Bray, 79, died at 6:45pm September 2, 2014, at his residence following an extended illness. He was born April 21, 1935, in Ross Co., to the late James A. and Dale (Hamlin) Bray. On August 16, 1956, he married the former Doris G. Starling, who survives. Also surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law Steve (Patty) Bray, Chillicothe; Marty Bray, Bainbridge; and Kevin (Sherri) Bray, Bainbridge; daughter and son-in-law Tina (Darrell) Tennant, Chillicothe; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers James (Carla) Bray, Muskegon, MI; and Albert Bray, Bainbridge; and a sister Cleo (Lloyd) Marita, Cincinnati. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Robert Bray. Lewis was a retired electrician for IBEW, Local 575. He was a member of Storms Chapel CCCU, loved to hunt, talk and visit with people and never met a stranger. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for their care and support. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, September 5, 2014, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Sammy Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Twp. Cemetery.
