Lee Anne Palmer

April 11, 1957 — September 24, 2025

Lee Anne (Tilley) Palmer, 68, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away after an extended illness on September 24, 2025. She was born on April 11, 1957 to the late James E. Tilley Sr. and Wanda L. (Barnhouse) McDonald in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Surviving are her daughter, Larissa Palmer; son, Brandon Palmer; grand-daughter, Brinlee Palmer; long-time partner, Rick Shope; brother, James Tilley Jr.; close friends, Gerry and Laverna Palmer; and her long-time best friends, Debbie (Mike) Roberts and Kathy Gill.

She was lovingly known as "Gigi", a role that filled her heart with immeasurable joy. Her granddaughter was the light of her life, and nothing brought her greater pride than being a grandmother. Every moment spent together - whether sharing laughter, watching tv with Brinlee, or simply being present - was treasured beyond measure. To her, being Gigi was not just a name, but her most cherished blessing.

Lee Anne was a devoted mother whose greatest joy was being present for her children. Whether it was sitting proudly in the stands at football games, clapping in the audience at dance recitals, or supporting countless other activities, she never missed a chance to cheer them on. Family was at the center of her life, and she poured her love into every celebration and holiday gathering. Among all the traditions she cherished, the Fourth of July held a special place in her heart - a day filled with family, laughter, and the simple joys of being together under the summer day. Lee Anne was also an avid bingo player and loved her fountain diet Pepsi.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public services and cremation will take place.
