Lee Giles

Lee C. Giles Lee C. Giles, 84, of New York, formerly of Chillicothe, died 9:50 am, August 26, 2005 in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, following an extended illness. He was born May 11, 1921 in Hartford, CT to George and Bessie Lattimore Giles. Survivors include two daughters, Lois Maughmer, of Columbus, and Carol Liggins, of :Chillicothe; two sons, James Giles, of Columbus, and Anthony Giles, of New York, NY; five grandsons; 8 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Mr. Giles was an employee of the Long Island Railroad, and an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Private graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery, Soldier Square, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Haller Funeral Home.
