Leah Elliott

Leah Jean Elliott, 77, of Chillicothe, died Friday, September 21, 2007 in the Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. David Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Monday at Haller's. She was born January 29, 1930 in Vinton Co. to Randall and Julyna Scott Smith. Survivors include a son, Terry (Eva) Elliott, of Chillicothe; two granddaughters, Kathy (Toby) Kellough and Michelle (Robert) Blair, both of Chillicothe; four great-grandchildren, Cory and Nicholas Kellough and Hayle and Garett Blair; two sisters, Dorothea (Bernard) Huffman and Lovonne Rhoads, both of Waverly; two brothers, Randall Smith Jr. and Herbert (Carol) Smith, both of Chillicothe and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Scott Elliott; a brother and sister-in-law Charles and Georgiana Smith; a brother-in-law, Daniel Rhoads and a sister-in-law, Laura Smith. Mrs. Elliott was a salesperson for several retail shoe stores. She attended Brookside Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church at 2215 Egypt Pike, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
