Laura Truex

Laura B. Truex, 91, of Chillicothe, died at 4:24am March 26, 2024, at Legacy of Chillicothe, following an extended illness.

She was born January 17, 1933, in Circleville, OH, to the late Samuel and Susie (Baer) Coon.  On October 20, 1987, she married Paul E. Truex, who  preceded her in death May 10, 1997.

Laura is survived by her daughter Kathy Conn, of Waverly; grandchildren: Mary Oney and Justin Conn, both of Chillicothe, Tami Johnson, South Carolina, Ashley Carlton, Tennessee; great-grandchildren: Kailee, Alyssa, Maleah, Alexa, Colton and Laraya; and a sister-in-law Mabel Heart, of Hallsville.  In addition to her husband Paul, she was predeceased by her sons: Lloyd McCloud, Jr., Kenneth McCloud, Rick McCloud and Danny McCloud; grandchildren: Kristen Conn, Ezra Conn II; son-in-law Ezra Conn; a brother Joe Coon; and a sister Abagail Malone.

A graveside service will be scheduled in the near future at Huntington Memorial Cemetery following cremation.
