Launna Jones

Launna Jones, 76, of Chillicothe, formerly of Crestline, OH, died at 8:40pm Friday, October 22, 2010, at Traditions of Chillicothe. She was born October 20, 1934, in Kentucky to the late Enos and Victoria Smith Johnson. Surviving are her children: Gregory E. (Francesca Ellis) Jones, San Diego, CA; Vicki Lynn (Brad) Cox, Chillicothe; Eric Alan (Chia-Ling) Jones, New Albany, OH; grandchildren: Sarah Jones, Hannah Jones, Rebekah Jones, and Zakeria Jones; a sister Bonnie (Meryle) Kleineicht; and brothers Oleen (Betty) Johnson; and Charles (Karen) Johnson. She was predeceased by her brother Cheseal Johnson; her sister Doris Linn; and her former husband L. Eugene Jones. Launna was a graduate of Crestline High School, Class of 1953. She retired from the retail sales department of Hallmark in Columbus. She had attended Brookside Church. A memorial service and burial will be held in Crestline, OH, at a later date.
