Larry C. Petty Larry C. Petty, 60, of Bainbridge, died 5:24 am, Monday, February 18, 2008 in the Grant Medical Center, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, in the Haller Funeral Home, with Pastor Robert Haddox officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Wednesday at Haller's. There will be a gathering to share food and fellowship at the Huntington Township Fire Department immediately after the graveside services. He was born September 9, 1947 in Columbus, OH to Emmitt C. Petty and Mary Alice Fuller. On January 29, 1982 he married Peggy J. Hixson, who survives. In addition to his wife and his mother, survivors include his children, Charles C., of Columbus, and Thomas C. Petty, of Chillicothe; five grandchildren; a sister, Alice (Calvin) Grimm, of Grove City; and a brother, Michael (Pat) Petty, of Chillicothe. Mr. Petty was a graduate of Bliss College and had retired in 1995 as an accountant and facility manager with the Federal Government. He also retired from Lowe's Home Improvement Center, after nine years of service. He served in the US Army and the Army Reserves until 1985.
